Meet the members:

Alex is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in French. Her research interests include cognitive psychology, neuropsychology bilingualism and language acquisition. She is currently working on her Capstone Project that investigates tip of the tongue phenomenon in bilinguals. This research will provide an understanding of TOT’s in bilinguals and perhaps provide a new interpretation and findings of this phenomenon.

Megan is a junior majoring in English literature and minoring in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). She is a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, fascinated by language. She is currently researching the relationship between varying cognitive learning approaches and academic reading comprehension performance in young adults. Her fields of interest include psycholinguistics, cognitive psychology, and bilingual cognitive/linguistic processing.

Alice is currently a third year psychology major who is interested in pursuing the field of Industrial Psychology. She was excited to work with Dr. Rossi after taking her Survey Research class. She is also a Peer Mentor and the Secretary of Psi Chi.

Erika is a senior majoring in Psychology. As a native Spanish speaker, she is excited to learn how bilinguals learn more than one language. She is interested in Cognitive Psychology and Industrial Organizational Psychology.

Casey has an AA degree in Psychology and an AS degree in Biological and Life sciences from Citrus College. He is a Psychology Undergrad Major at CPP. He is Interested in Biopsychology, the dynamics of Neuroplasticity, Ethology, and Environmental/Ecological Concerns. English is his native language.



Caitlyn is a transfer student from Chaffey College with an AA in psychology and currently pursuing a B.A. degree in psychology at Cal Poly Pomona. Her long term plans include pursing a PH.D in clinical psychology. Her interests in the field of psychology are in forensics psychology, cognitive psychology, and neuropsychology.

Mimi is a transfer student from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA and currently holds 2 A.A. degrees; Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Psychology. She is currently working towards a B.A. degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Ethnicity, and Multicultural Studies. She works on-campus at the Women’s Resource Center as a Social Justice Leader and at EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) tutoring as an academic tutor. She is interested in research-oriented psychology. She looks forward to pursuing a Ph. D in Clinical Psychology.
